Serge grew up in the land of greenhouses. A native of Westland, Netherlands (one of the largest regions in the world of greenhouse horticulture), he rode his bike past rows and rows of greenhouses everyday, and at the tender age of 12, he began working in them. 

He started in the horticultural side of the industry, then worked his way up to management, learning every aspect of the business along the way—from technology to best growing practices. He soon began leading large greenhouse operations, which encompassed operations, automation, and growing. 

Serge’s skill at translating complicated technical jargon into easy-to-understand language, coupled with his strong knowledge of growing and his capable and friendly leadership abilities have made Boon Greenhouse a company that clients know they can trust to help them thrive.
